5K Pace Band for a 30:00 Finish (Km Splits)
Thirty minutes for 5K is a common benchmark for newer runners. This band maps an even 0:30:00 onto km markers 1–5.
Race day nerves make arithmetic hard. A paper strip solves that. Print scaling off, actual size.
Goal time minimum is 15:00 sitewide. Impossibly fast times show a plain-language error.
| Marker | Elapsed time |
|---|---|
| Km 1 | 6:00 |
| Km 2 | 12:00 |
| Km 3 | 18:00 |
| Km 4 | 24:00 |
| Km 5 | 30:00 |
| Finish | 30:00 |
Km splits assume even pacing from start to finish.
