How Much Topsoil Do I Need?
Multiply your coverage area by depth in inches, divide by 12, and you have cubic feet. Divide by 27 for cubic yards. One-cubic-foot bags are common at home centers; we also show 40 lb bags at 0.75 cu ft per bag because that volume is printed on many labels.
